Frequently Asked Questions

What's does it cost?

On average, a home would use a 3k to a 10k system. Before tax credits were applied the net cost would range from $24,000 to $80,000.

What would be my return on my investment?

The return on an out of pocket investment (cash) would take 6-10 years. A home equity investment can return as quick as 3 years counting tax breaks.

How about the warranty?

The manufacturer’s warranty is 25 years. The PV panels have a life span of over 30 years. Many have been in service much longer.

What about my HOA?

Statue ARS 33-349 prevents any HOA from stopping you from solar installation.

How do the rebates and tax credit work?

Utility rebates are based on the system wattage.

Residential = $3 a watt
Commercial = $2.50 a watt
(Example: a residential system of 5k would receive a $15,000 rebate.)

On a residential property the State tax credits are capped at $1,000 and Federal tax credits are 30%
of the cost of the system.
On a commercial property State gives 10% and Federal gives 30%.
Commercial tax credits apply for rental properties.

Dimensions- 66"Lx33"Wx1.97"D

Can I eliminate my electric bill?

That is possible. To produce more than needed is not cost effective. You will still need to be connected to the electric grid and you would still pay your monthly connection fee and applied taxes.

Will a PV solar system increase the value of my home?

Yes! The value of your home will increase and will tend to sell faster with a PV solar system. You can add $25 of value to every dollar saved in electricity cost.

Can it be installed on my roof?

Yes! The load rate is less than 3lb per sq ft. The PV Solar system can also be place on the ground with poles or a racking system.
